Posted by: Spiddy at Fri May 11 13:51:09 2007 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Spiddy ] I'm in the process of shifting from a tank system to a rack one. Currently, with my tanks, I use low-wattage red lights in additional to the UTHs. I do this mostly so I can observe them. But with the rack system, it will be completely dark at night during feeding time. As nocturnal creatures, can they see and feed in utter darkness? In the wild, there would at least be moonlight to assist them. But these racks are really dark, and I don't think an overhead light would help much at all. Just wondering if they'll manage. Thanks!
