8 oz deli cups alone will work fine for a while - once they start putting on some weight they'll start tipping them. I found some glass dishes at the dollar store that fit the 8 oz solo cups - so I bought them out - works great no more tipping. Check your local $1 store you might find something that will work - soup cups work great - but don't use anything with a looped handle.
Petco has some little plastic dishes and small crocks in the small animal department for like $1.00 (plus or minus depending on size) that will work ok for hatchlings.
Also - Someone on here uses little bird feeders hooked to the side of the tub - those look like they'd work really well - but I don't know how much they cost.
