Actually, in an effort to track the history of My Firebelly male, I talked to Dennis Sargent on the phone and he told me directly that he could not prove the so called "Roatan" firebelly actually came from Roatan. And that he was indeed the first to call them that.
Make of it what you will. But that's straight from him to me. Not trying to dis him in anyway, but that term has led to a lot of confusion and one hell of a mess. If I remember correctly, Bob Harding was the first to work with these beautiful Boas. 10 years before Dennis if I remember correctly.
