That is why they are bad. There are many other insects that can be fed to provide a variety. I use roaches as a staple. Perhaps you should look into them. Also...try what I suggested....your chameleon will not die if you don't feed it for a couple of days to a week. It will get hungry and eat what is offered. But defenitly try roaches!
