RE: newspaper and misting?

I use newspaper (since aspen is hard to comeby here in Southern CA) more or less exclusively in my vision cages and have never had a shed problem. If one of the snakes is going into shed, I just grab the water spray bottle and give the newspaper a good spraying. The newspaper does "crinkle" after it dries up, but I've never had an issue with the newspaper ink bleeding from the sprayed water. I think my hands get more ink on them when I'm laying down the paper, than the snakes get on them.
