It's a tough thing to gut load mealies. A good wawy to do it is to take them out once a week and let them warm up and eat, cause they don't really eat when they're cold. I usually just use a small critter keeper container and throw about 40 or 50 in at a time, and sprinkle fish food on top, along with some gut-load cubes for moisture. I also use carrots or left over veggies from dinner. It is a bit more of a hassle, but it's worth it, and I can't think of a better way to get around it. Or, I guess you could just take them out all at once and put them in a plastic shoebox and place them in the fridge that way with your gutload of choice and then just take them out every so often and then pop them back in the fridge.
