A dominant gene is the capital letter in a punnett square - take Normal, which we'll call NN. NN x PN (normal with pastel) means you have a 50% chance of getting a pastel. Pastel then would be dominant, since it appears OVER the normal gene, which is also dominant since it appears over recessive genes. Er, wait. [ Hide Replies ]
