Plant question

Hi all....I heard everyone talking about pothos plants for the cages, so I went out and bought one! Now I'm not sure if it's okay...



This is the one that I got:

It's called a scindapsus pictus and was identified as a pothos, which it isn't....



Does anyone have any experience with these and chams? I don't want to put it in until I know it's ok, but he needs something cause he's trying to eat the silk plants!
