I have two different kinds of tubs. One has a top that fastens just fine... the other I had an escape on, mainly due to just a loose "click", and I didnt realize it was not clicked. The bad tops are the green ones in some of the photos. As long as its a good clicking top, you should have to worry much. From what I remember from their video, salmonboa keeps many in similiar setups with click tops as well.
