Thank you Jess, Those new babies will have their time to shine, right now they are newborns and still have that newborn coloring. Once they shed a few times, then the true colors will begin to show. AND, they were not acquired for color but for pattern. Even if they are not the highest color, if the striping is heritable, I will simply start crossing them with high color animals to create higher colored stripe babies. Save back some of those to breed back together and voila, very high colored stripe babies!!
