If you disable the worm too much it won't move around and attract the cham's attention. They don't eat dead prey. If I need to hand feed a sick or weak cham I'll crush the head, but a healthy cham's bite usually crushes the worm pretty quickly. Watch your cham shoot at them. Most shoot at the head to avoid a bite. If you do see a possible bite on a cham's lip, you can put a bit of Betadine or triple antibiotic ointment on it. [ Hide Replies ]
