Posted by: Alanna at Mon May 21 17:14:18 2007 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Alanna ] I am confused as to what would be the best diet for my Leo. I have been feeding him mostly crickets and twice a week i switch to wax worms (i usually give him 5 at a time) but i want to be sure he is getting the right diet. I read on this forum that crickets are not the best to give him all the time but then someone else says that wax worms should be a treat as they are full of fat? What about meal worms? My normal routine is to sprinkle either the crickets or waxies every 3 days with Vitamin supplement and i also have a dish of pure calcium in the tank. He seems very happy and actually gets excited when i go to feed him the worms so i must be doing something right but as i am a noobie (Have him since christmas)i want to make sure he is ok.My tank is tiled (Got a local tile company to cut the tiles to fit) and my temps are good. Sometimes though if i put in 5 crickets there will be 1 or 2 left the next day but i think this is around shedding time anyway. Please let me know if i am doing the right things [ Hide Replies ]
