I don't want my 7 year old son looking at things he can't totally understand yet either. But I do explian things to him with 100% honesty when the subjects arise. That's what we as parents are supposed to do. Just making a broader statement about pretending things don't exist doesn't help anyone, especially children. It just makes them confused, scared adults. This topic is just fresh on my mind because a guy I work with just got in trouble for telling a few off-color jokes during a training session he was instructing. A bunch of adults offended by a few curse words. It's so stupid. I just don't get "adults" that truly think the world is Romper Room. It fascinates me. [ Hide Replies ]
