Bet you thought it was another snake, NOPE!



I made me a new rack just for the Q-room. I wanted a small one and I wanted it to be flexible. So I designed it such that each of the three shelves could hold one of three size tubs:

one 32-QT lidless blanket box or

two 15-QT lidless sweater boxes or

three 6-QT lidded shoe boxes (will need a loose shelf added to hold down lids)



The plan is to use the 15-QT boxes for now and change them out if/when needed.

Best part of the project was it cost NOTHING!! Yup, zero dollars spent. Was made entirely from prior project scraps and leftovers!! Even the tubs were extra ones I had laying around!



Since I've already have experience from building a few other racks, this one only took me a few hours from start to finish to complete.



Majorly simple design, 6 pieces all 24" x 18" two are for the sides and the other four are for shelves and top. Edge banded one long side on all six pieces and both short ends for the side pieces. Add a scrap (measured and cut after assembly) to fill in the gap at the bottom, another piece for the back, three strips of heat tape (one per shelf) and voila!
