Another reason for the people that look at our hobby/business to say, why do we allow these people to have such animals as pets? I am far more concerned that the animal could hurt a child or a family's pet dog/cat and then the fuel is on the same fire that is making many people demand laws AGAINST our hobby/business. We need to get a grip on this REALITY that people are becoming more and more less tolerant to snakes in people’s homes/apartments. We spend a lot of time fighting with each other over our DRAMA'S. PLEASE BE RESPONSIBLE with your animals. This is the opposition’s biggest fear and their most legitimate complaint, "THE SNAKES GET OUT OF THEIR CAGES". Like it or not but we are the minority in this situation. Big snakes “any snake” if not kept in their cages cause us BIG trouble as a community.

Also we need to organize “if possible?” and decide on specific ways to defend our hobby/business when people and politicians try to take away our rights as “law abiding / tax paying / citizens” that love reptiles. There is NO WAY we can convince most people to ever like reptiles like we do but if we can convince people we are responsible people and that they can trust us to keep our animals caged and out of the publics face then perhaps we might not be in the position of always defending ourselves to the public.

Please excuse my rant.
