In Windows Photo Gallery you can do simple adjustments and crop. The tool bar across the top you should see file, fix, info, etc.... go to "open" and it should take your picture and put it in paint where you can adjust the size. If you have added editing software you when you click on "open" it should give you a choice of what program you'd like to open the picture in.
