Sorry for the silly question, I’m just getting back into Boas, my expertise is with Carpet Pythons, Balls and Bloods. As far as the legal stuff, I didn’t think Argentine Boas were a problem but my brother sent me a Boa care sheet from Melissa Kaplan's Herp Care Collection sheet, and it said,” All of the Boa ssp. are listed as threatened on Appendix II of the Convention on the International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES); the Argentine Boa (B. c. occidentalis) is on Appendix I--the endangered listing. Appendix II animals can be exported and imported with the proper permits, and can legally be sold through the pet trade; Appendix I animals require special permits to buy, sell, trade and own.” I assumed this doesn’t apply to sales and ownership within the US., but I was not sure.

That right! Brain fart! Hybrids don’t work that way. I should know by my dealings with Carpet python hybrids! All you get is varying degrees of homogenization. I’m sure some will look more like one or the other.
