I noticed in the picture you have a stick on dial type thermometer. These are not that accurate and difficult to measure basking temps, whether over the UTH or under the light. Get a digital thermometer with probe, lay that directly over the under tank heater and take the basking temps there. Stick on thermometers can be off by as much as 20F.
I would also get rid of the light and cover the back and two sides with something, this way there are little to no distractions for the snake.
Also follow what everybody else has suggested, as its very good advice.
As for flagyl, this is a deworming product. It is not to prevent regurgetation, not unless a fecal done on your snake came up with worms and certain other internal parasites. Or it is a type of parasite itself...a little fuzzy on it right now.
