Well said. I completely agree. I enjoy my snakes as a hobby, and I think it's more fun without the pressure. I think it's probably unwise to go into debt to invest in any animal. Animals, no matter what kind, are a risky investment. They don't always cooperate, stuff happens, and things don't always work out like you plan. Like I said, the snakes are a hobby for me. Most of my business experience comes from the horse industry, but I think a lot of it applies here. I've seen what happens when people spend more than they can afford to lose thinking they're going to make lots of money, and it doesn't end well. Have fun. Enjoy your snakes. If you make money, then it's icing on the cake.

I have one more piece of advice, and it's certainly worked well for me: If someone tries to sell you something by telling you about the quick return you'll get, be very careful. If it was really going to make so much money, they would probably keep it.

I know this probably isn't what you wanted to hear, but it may save you some trouble in the long run.
