Most people start cooling around October I believe. However if all your females are cooled and have not yet ovulated, you can try and breed him to it, after he has gone through quarantine but if he hasn't been cooled, nor the females, the chances are pretty slim you will get eggs for this season. Better to just get him settled and eating well, ensure the females are all well fed and prepare for next season. [ Hide Replies ]
