They all know its there and go down to look for it. I would recommend fresh greens such as mustards, collards, turnips and dandelions along with some slivered acorn or butternut squash. Some sort of fruit like mango, papaya and berries are also relished. They seem to like strawberries and raspberries best. Your male may be a little young for the greens yet but he would enjoy edible flowers such as pansies, nasteriums, petunias or hisbiscus along with the fruit. My older Veileds all seem to prefer the salad to insects. | ||
