Hey Tom,
I am not an expert on Hypos either.. and really not sure if that animal is or not, so I am not going to dispute that. I do, however have several adult and subadult BRB's with eyes that are similar, that are certainly not hypo animals. A few of which are very light orange, but some are the opposite and actually extremely dark (really cool looking w/ the silver tone eyes..). Anyway, point is.. I would not base the Hypo conclusion strictly on the eyes. There are a couple of bloodlines in the US that seem to carry this lighter eyes.. reguardless of scale/skin pigmentation).
There are several 12 -14 month old animals w/ light eyes in my thread above, and I have a 2 yr old and a 3 yr old with silver eyes too, both are shedding at the moment.. but can photograph em later if you like.
The only thing I know for sure, that is an amazing looking male!! Makes me wish I had some disposable $$$ right now
>>I'm not an expert on hypos brb's but ALL that I have seen do not have black eyes. They have eyes like the one I posted. Take a look. TC ----- photos.xtremecombatsports.com
