sunken eyes can be caused by dehydration which in turn is caused from the little blood suckers. soak your snake for several hours in enough water that it is submerged but not having to swim to keep its head out of the water. while you are doing this, clean it's cage with bleach and water and treat with PAM or equate lice bedding spray (it has the same active ingredient as PAM) until you can get some PAM. Some say that spending the extra bucks for PAM is useless but for my peace of mind knowing it has been tested with reptiles is well worth the few extra dollars.
Of course it can be caused by something else so I would get the snake to a vet ASAP just to make sure. ----- Josh & Krysty Hutto
