Posted by: croc 2-3 at Sun Jul 1 11:35:02 2007 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by croc 2-3 ] The irony is back in the day we had a lot of turtles for cheaper prices because no one knew what they were Pearl rivers black knobs & a few other now hard to find species make up the group of sawback maps. Thing is if we only had those turtles now. I'm not sure as knowledge is more widespread now the nback then but but species like G. oculifera, G.Flavimaculata which are now rare probaly were included in those under four inch turtle babies we found in every woolworth's.
