Jess,
...Those happen with the first sheds sometimes. I think it is just a spot where the scale was imperfect (or a minor injury and scab) and when the shed came off it took the piece of imperfect scale (or scab) with it. They more often happen right in the middle of the top of the head. I used to see them most commonly on baby CRBs after the first shed. They are also more common on some of the Pythons. It should heal up and fill in and look okay after a couple more sheds.
Jeff
>>I noticed this morning while starting to take pictures of the babies that Aladdin, one that is spoken for, has what looks to be a hole in his head where there might be missing a scale?
>>It looks like it goes down to either a layer of skin or bone. I tried to take the best pictures I could. I just need to know if i should sell him or not, he has eaten twice and shed.
>>What do I do? I think the person who wants to buy him from me would understand, he bought one of my babies last year and is a great guy.
>>Any suggestions at all would be helpful.
