RE: Genetic marker or????

I have seen two other boas (non morph) that had solid black eyes. Neat, but I haven't seen it lead to anything. Though no reason it shouldn't there are mutations in other animals that ONLY affect the eye color.

Is the full eye black, the iris? I have seen some boas that had bad eye-sight and their pupils were permanently dialated.
