Thank you for your responses. We love our reptile show muttThis is our first boa. We also have had a ball python for a number of years who is just a wonderful snake, but we also like the look and personality of the boa, which is a little different from the ball, so after a lot of research, we decided to add a boa to our reptile family.

I thought that one of the parents might be a columbian, but I was curious as to what your opinions were, being more experienced with boas and different types of boas. I am also intrigued by the pinkish coloring she has, but I read that some Hoggs can have this coloring, so that may be her 75% Hogg genes. When I saw her at the reptile show, I thought that she had really pretty coloring, and when I held her, she had such a great personality, I just had to take her home.
