The pair I have has produced several litters in the past. I have not bred "any" snakes in the last 3 years. I was for lack of a better word, Dormant.

They are one of the most muscular Boids I have ever acquired, the immense feeling of holding my 7 foot female and my 5 foot male is quite INTENCE.

The pair is 15 years old, very nice animals. Nope I do not have a single picture, actually very few of my animals have ever been photographed.

After my divorce I was on a "hiatus" for quite some time. At one point having to disseminate my entire collection. Lucky for me I got some of them back when I got my self together, had to start over from scratch almost, I still get a little pissy because I had to get rid of a 23 foot burmese python, couldn't get that one back, It is in some educational center in another state according to who I offloaded it on.

But I am back in the saddle again. I am glad I got some of them back, especially the "retic's".

But I am a very happy man these days, back from the dead!

That was the day my dead pet returned to save my life.

I'm Alive!!

They did mate once on April 15, 2007...I do not think anything became of it, because they usually bred much earlier.

I put them together out of curiosity to see if they would copulate that late in the season. they locked up for several hours and after that I separated them, female is not behaving as if gravid.

The actual plan was to breed them next season, but I try to get a lot of different snakes breeding at times of the year that they most likely will not, just to studying their seasonality and or aseasonality. NERD. lol
