Hey all,
Haven't been here in awhile. It's nice to check in again. A quick question... my BP Squeeze is now 15 months, and I just switched him from mice to sm. rats. I know some people switch a lot sooner, but I didn't feel right about it. He didn't start getting real wide until just recently.
He ate his first dead rat about 6 days ago, and immediatly went into a shed. Question is: Should I keep feeding him once a week, or should I now lessen feedings? And if so, how often should I feed him? He's about 32" now, and is getting quite heavy bodied.
Oh, nevermind this being quick I just thought of something else... I'm looking into breeding in the distant future. I can't afford a piebald, but I love them to death. Offhand, How much do hets generally run? Anyone have any price ideas on what any of the morphs/het for different morphs typically go for? Don't worry, I definatly wouldn't be breeding expecting to make any real money at it (I've bred lots of other critters and money is never something that comes back!)... but realistically speaking, if you're breeding something other than just normals, do you usually at least break even? Just wanna know if I should plan on investing in a nice morph or not.
I'de love to get Squeeze a girlfriend someday! -----
