I once ordered a pair of Lloyd Lemke stock Black Pine snakes from John Cherry of Cherryville Farms. He sent me 1.1 plus threw in another Male. Well, I do not know which male was the extra one, but while all of them are great examples of their species, one of the males is Solid Black w/ no pattern ( some pattern is minutely visible in direct sunlight.) The remaining two Other's have very slight pattern in sunlight as well. The one male just turned out to have the least visible pattern on any of the Black Pines I own. They will be out crossed to a bloodline from Al Swanson of Staten Island Serpents.

Only time that happened. John Cherry is a very good and knowledgeable person, in regards to many different colubrids.
