They usually have all kinds of internal parasites and they rarely eat. Many novices unknowingly buy them and the snakes literally starve to death over the course of a year or two. The only thing that seems to work for anyone is gerbils, the problem is that gerbils are expensive, addictive to snakes, and gerbils bite WAY harder and deeper than any rat. [ Hide Replies ]
