Who is taking chances on "new" animals?

With all the talk about the BP market crashing and albinos being worth $50 in the near future, is there anyone out there willing to pay a decent amount for new African animals?
Has the rapid price drop on morphs recently discouraged people from buying new unproven animals?
It seems that no one else is willing to take a risk anymore. Even if the animal you buy doesn't turn out to be something that takes the market by storm, you still have a unique and beautiful pet.
