No it's not normal

If she didn't use the nest box last time then it was an unacceptable place for her to lay her eggs. She is more likely straining to retain the eggs rather than lay them as you think.

Descibe what you have as a nest box, how big your dragon is (length, weight) and I may be able to help you. If you provide an acceptable place she will lay them right away. Tell me her cage size substrate etc.

Every dragon is different, a nest box that works for one may be unacceptable for another. I suggest you backchannell me and I'll give you my phone number or you can list yours. You need to do something about this right away.
