Keep in mind, female snakes are releasing multiple eggs and therefore sperm from multiple donaors have the opportunity to fertilize them. Each egg will be fertilized by a single sperm, but more eggs mean more possibility of fertilization by different sperm donors.
Theoretically, you could have a female produce 30 offspring with 30 different fathers. There is, if course, nothing you can do to determine which males fertilize which eggs. It's a crap shoot.
