I remember those days. Very few people had heard of yellow ackies, or any other Oz. varanids. Albino BP's were what, about 7-8 G each? Albino boas were several thousand more...piebald BPs were selling for 20 G. Iguanas were being dumped more then than now....I feel old, what you go do that for? *L* It's nice to see how it's changed (well, somewhat anyway). There's all sorts of new fun stuff available now...but too many damn laws.
Of course, if you want to talk to a *real* old timer, go ask someone who kept in the 70's! My dentist has stories of seeing false gavials on price list. I'm just a newcomer...but it changes so dang fast.
