Posted by: chonjoepython at Thu Jun 21 23:58:06 2007 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by chonjoepython ] ...i am sending a couple of these pickerini to my bro in kentucky. he is a biology professor at centre college, and used to live in washinton state. jeff told me that this subspecies of Thamnophis sirtalis can eat a type of salamander (i forgot which species) that is fatally poisonous to other garter snakes. i found that to be very interesting.
