No way...........crock pots cook things....to defrost rats you just want to thaw them to an unfrozen state .not cook......

anyways...crock pot would just heat the water around the rats till it was all warm and then warm rats till unfrozen.......take like hour or so......

.....hot tap water in a bucket or pan or whatever..I use stainless steel steam table pans........hot water in and rats in and the water will get cold quickly........dump water and add new hot tap water......repeat a couple times......they thaw in 15 minutes if you are attentative and half hour if you don't try real hard at it.......when water stays warm add more hot and they will be like 100 degrees.....make sure rats are warm the whole way to center....and no ice balls are left inside......

........faster with hot water.........

make chicken and BBQ sauce in crock pots........whistle pigs and tomatoe sauce?.........etc etc
