Eyes closing....

My BD has been keeping his eyes closed during the day alot the past day and 1/2 I know with chameleons this is not a good sign at all. Is it the same for BD's? He's got good basking heat, cool side, has had several baths/sprays, has been eating and pooping. I have only had him for a week. He is nine inches long. Any ideas would help, thanks in advance.
