I would stop using it now, and get a replacement at your convenience. If you're going to lay it on the screen then an 8 should be fine. I am a Zoo Med believer on this item and have always used 5.0's with 20 long tanks in the past when laid on the screen but zoo med says to use a 10.0 in this application. With a raised basking area I just feel a 5 is enough. If you pitch the compact fluorescent his eyes should recover in a few days. | ||
