Frist of all a Pastel Boa isn't always "pink". The Pastel Boas can be more pink. The amount of color they have isn't as important as the reduction of black. Pastels have an overall reduction in black. Some Pastels have more of a reduction in black than others. Some Pastel have LOTS OF COLOR as well as a reduction of black. Pastel don't have as much reduction as a Hypo, so black in the side medallions doen't mean it's not a Pastel. You need to look at the "entire snake". If you have a strong reduction in black over the entire bod of your snake, but not as much as a hypo, then your boa could very well be a Pastel.
Now as far as your boa being a Pastel....????
I can see that it does have a fairly good reduction in black. In my opinion your boa is a Pastel. It's not the cleanest Pastel I've ever seen, but it does have enough reduction in black to be a Pastel. The nice pinks are just a bonus.
