Actually, you'd have a really hard time setting anything on fire with foil unless you wadded it up into a ball first. It's so thin it can't hold much heat at all. You can pick aluminum foil up with your hands, directly out of the oven, as long as you're only touching loose edges that are not in direct contact with hot food or pans or something.
