You need to get a new container with fresh prepared Vermiculite or Perlite and transfer the eggs into that. Eggs may cave in due to lack of moisture and also too much moisture. The first case is easy to solve -- just do the above, the second may require more effort on your part. The smell could mean they are starting to mold. If this is the case I would gently treat each egg with Dr. Scholl's Footpowder to kill the mold and moved them into the new incubation substrate. [ Hide Replies ]
