Posted by: snake_bit at Tue Jul 3 22:32:25 2007 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by snake_bit ] Not sure about your hondo but NA milks sometime go off feeding in the summer so I feed them as much as they will eat in april may and june so they can be ready for the slow down and I stop feeding them in the winter.This sometimes means several pinks or fussies in one feeding. then maybe nothing for a few weeks.In the wild they may raid a nest and eat many or all at one time.Or they may eat a snake or a skink which is a larger meal then a few pinks.What I am saying is some snakes may not want to eat on certain days so when they do just give them all they want. Over feeding can be a health problem also as it is with their keepers. [ Hide Replies ]
