I had a similar issue a few days ago. I took my gecko on a few hour long trip in his carrying case, get him there and found his back leg was totally flipped in the opposite position. I found a reptile vet down the street by pure luck and she said it was MBD. She also said it could be a fracture but she wasn't sure yet. He's only 5.5 inches long and 12 grams.
I thought it was odd since his crickets are gut loaded for almost 24 hours and I just started to "shake n' bake". She gave him a shot of calcium and another of vitamins A & E, said his legs should straighten themselves out and sent us on our way. He stopped eating for a few days and just got back on track yesterday, $64 later more calcium supplements.
Any how that's my experience so far. Good luck with you're little one.
