I don't think anyone really knows what's going on to produce the lavender effect.

I've talked to John at Salmon Boas.com and he told me that he and Rich have a male sunglow with simalar coloration. What has me really excited is not just the color of her skin, but the color of her eyes. I have another female sunglow that has the standard sunglow eye. The difference betweeen the color of their eyes is like night and day.

I hope to breed her in 2008 and will let you all know if I am able to reproduce the effect.
