it is not really like the hypo gene because the homozygous form is different than the heterozygous form. the heterozygous form of the motley is what you see for sale, the homozygous form of the motley morph is an all black boa that looks really freaking awesome. but yes, if you breed a motley to a normal you will get a few motleys.
