Some people say "so what" to the weight difference. I, on the other hand, think it's something to seriously consider. Did they lie about the weight or genuinely make a mistake? If they lied, is the sex correct? Is the the snakes feeding habit correct? Would YOU have paid the same price for a snake accurately advertised at 2700 grams? Oh and very important, is YOUR scale correct?
I picked up a snake that was supposed to be 1900 grams and feeding. She arrived at 1600 and not feeding. She was also supposed to be a het. 5 years later and she still hasn't produced anything but normals. See where I'm going with this? A little "white" lie can erode trust in a big way. I try to underestimate weight for the reasons some posts mentioned. ----- Jay A. Martin
