Russ,

Ethan (WolfenWarrior) and I have been having this same issue lately. We are moving to a new place, and have been having a hard time finding a manager that will allow snakes. It seems apartment complexes are a lost cause, but have been having more luck with managers who are renting houses, or flats. I know you said that those are crummy in your area, but are they really all crummy?

Around here, if you look hard enough, you can find some pretty decent flats. We just found one the other day that is actually pretty nice, and they allow snakes!

Try looking up places on your local Craigslist page (www.craigslist.org). I've found better luck finding places on there then on an internet search, or magazine ad.

Good luck!
