Like a lot of them have said you can breed at lesser weights but me I will not breed until they are 1700gr. That is were I feel most comfortable ,they are big enough to get the eggs out with less chance of becoming egg bond and can recover quicker and doesn’t shorten there breeding life , although it has not been proven I believe breeding them to young and to small can do just that by as much as 5-10 years . But you do what you feel is best for your females but they are the ones that pay . Thanks David of DS Reptile Rescue
