I just witnessed ovulation on 2 females that I thought for sure were not going to go this season. We have 1 clutch hatched, 3 in the incubator room and 2 getting ready to be laid and now 2 more ovulating. I just don't get it but that is part of the game I guess. We got an early start on breeding this season (started in October) but did not get eggs any earlier than normal. Even if I dom't get any more eggs this season I got the clutch from my Sunburst Pastel crosses to further prove their genetics and that was one that I really wanted to get this season. Best of luck with the rest of your females and hopefully you will get alot of females of everything (hoping for luck on both of our parts). [ Hide Replies ]
